These shorts are based on the same Ascent cycling gear we manufacture for teams all over the globe. Crafted from 190g Italian lycra and featuring flatseam stitching and Pactimo's innovative yoga waistband for women, this short has been designed, constructed and tested for serious riders.
Using all the same technical performance materials and superb design as our Ascent Pro Shorts, these shorts incorporate the Ultra-soft Silicone Gripper at the leg openings as opposed to Compression Band. That means these shorts will fit a little shorter and may be a better choice for larger thighed or shorter cyclists.
This short will exceed expectations in a variety of weather, road and trail conditions.

After a couple of hours in the saddle comfort can be an issue with cycling shorts, but not with these. The fit was excellent without sliding down or binding and the chamois provided great comfort.

I am 5'2, 118 lbs and have an athletic build (i.e., thicker thighs). I found this short to be a very complementary fit and better than the recommended short for shorter/thicker-thighed cyclist.

I just rode 30 miles in my new shorts-first time wearing them. The fit is wonderful and I love the yoga waistband. The legs stayed where they were supposed to and the padding was good. I just like my shorts a teensy bit longer. Over all though I'm gad I bought these. It's been frustrating trying to find bike clothing that fits and functions well.

These are great shorts for my 10 to 20 mile rides and great for hot summer weather. Gotta say that the summits are my fave, but these are an excellent pair of shorts for the price.

I bought these shorts because the description said they had ultra-soft silicone gripper leg openings as opposed to compression band leg openings. They were also supposed to fit better for women who are a little larger thighed or shorter (which I am both). The description was right on. These shorts fit and feel great!

Nice shorts first ride in them was 52 miles. Very comfortable! do not bind or ride up.
